What Does "Provably Fair" Actually Mean?
Provably fair is a transparency standard you'll only find at crypto casinos. It uses cryptography to let you, the player, confirm that a game's outcome was decided fairly and couldn't have been altered after you placed your bet. Here's the mechanism in plain terms: before a round, the casino generates a secret server seed and shows you a hashed (scrambled) version of it. Request a new seed pair, which reveals the previous server seed. You now have the un-hashed seed used for past rounds.
Run the verification
Use the casino's built-in verifier or a third-party tool to feed in the server seed, client seed, and nonce. It recreates the exact outcome. If it matches what you saw, the game was fair.
